Cell Phone Policy
Cell phone use, including text messaging, is not permitted during school hours (including lunch). Students in grades 5-8 will be required to secure their cell phone in a personally assigned Yondr pouch when they arrive at school each day. Students will maintain possession of their phones and will not use them until their pouches are opened at the end of the school day. Students are required to bring their Yondr pouch to and from school each day, regardless of if they have a cell phone, and are responsible for their pouch at all times. Pouches that are lost or intentionally damaged may be issued a fee for replacement.
If cell phones, computing systems, and portable music or entertainment systems are used on school property, the item will be confiscated and will not be returned until a parent comes to school to pick up the device. Continued improper use may lead to the revocation of the privilege to bring the item to school.
